Keen French gardeners know that this part of South Brittany - the orange section on the map - has a mild 'oceanic' climate, having on average, over 2000 hours of sunshine each year, comparable with Toulouse or Montelimar in the South of France, and 200-300 more than inland Brittany. With long dry summers and mild winters, from April the sunshine average is over 7 hours per day and the average summer temperature is a comfortable 25C.

Our dalmation Stanley is responsible for many of our guests' return visits, he's ever so popular and receives loads of doggy chews at Christmas! He is gentle and trustworthy with the youngest of children but an incurable scrounger.
We're proud to say that the Brittany Ferries company Holiday France Direct used one of our gîtes in their 2007 and 2010 advertising campaigns!
