Inland, the delightful village of Rochefort-en-Terre, featured in A Place in the Sun and voted France's favourite village in 2016, is 20 mins away.
Closer to home our pretty, thriving local villages of Noyal Muzillac and Le Guerno are a riot of floral colour from May onwards and have bakers and village shops, bars, pizzeria, créperie and restaurants.
Vannes with its medieval centre is 25 minutes away and you can ride the mechanical elephant at the Machines de l'Îsle à Nantes (1 hr).
