Our gites are set in our 1/2 acre garden in our traditional Breton longère on the edge of a small hamlet in sunny South Brittany, 6 miles from the sea, near beaches, Vannes, Rochefort-en-Terre and other main tourist sites. There's lots of things to see and do throughout the year and because we advertise with Brittany Ferries, you can save up to £250 on your Brittany Ferries fares if you stay with us!
Open plan 6m X 6m sunny room with view through french windows over the gated, walled terrace to the garden, and with door and windows onto the courtyard garden. Chestnut beams and exposed granite give this gite charm and character. Pine fitted kitchen with self lighting gas oven, hob with extractor, dishwasher, washing machine, refrigerator, microwave, filter coffee maker, toaster, and ample crockery, cutlery, and utensils. Iron, ironing board and airing stand. Powerful electric fan, hair dryer. Fire extinguisher, blanket; electric sockets are all child shielded. Dining table (extends to 2.5m!) beside stone and oak stairs. High quality three seat and two seat sofas around the huge fireplace with log burner and stone wall. Electric background heating. British and French television, video recorder, DVD player, lamps, pictures and ornaments give the room a warm and traditional atmosphere.
Shared use of very large hedged sunny garden with oak, cherry, apple, pear and peach trees, courtyard and separate area for energetic games. Boules piste,swings, and outdoor table tennis.

Bedlinen is provided. In order for guests to enjoy a relaxed journey, visit locations on the way, or take advantage of cheaper daytime ferry crossings, we will welcome arrivals late at night provided we are told beforehand.
We will also consider shorter stays and non Saturday arrival outside high season. We live in another house on the premises and we are available should our advice or assistance be required.
The local village, Noyal Muzillac, is under 1.5 miles away and has a baker, general store, post office, pharmacy, restaurants and cafés. The surrounding minor roads are quiet, fairly level and suitable for cycling or walking. There is a Friday market, shops and supermarkets at Muzillac, 4.5 miles, or at Questembert, 5.5 miles (Monday market), and hypermarkets and city shopping at Vannes (25 minutes)
The nearest beach is just 12 minutes away, at Pen Lan, it's just 17 minutes to the popular resort of Damgan and many other beaches and resorts in the area offer a wide range of attractions.
This is an ideal base from which to explore the marvellous towns and coastline of this area of outstanding beauty and quality. If you want a break packed with activities, or a peaceful time in rural surroundings, all the pleasures of the climate and region are on our doorstep and we are convinced our guests will be delighted with their stay.
